Buying expensive designer clothes from the collection may be a bit off the budget because like branded clothing such as Ralph Lauren, Versace ,Dolce and Gabbana and many more,it is not your average clothes. But the question is how to be trendy clothes or how to make one, so here are some tips to be in fashion in a tight budget.
A tailored blazer: if you don’t already own one, buy one. You can wear it with everything, from old peasant tops to this season’s one-shouldered dresses and it will make them look of the moment. In a classic, classy way.
Silk pajama pants, This could be the look of the season, teamed with sweaters now, and later on with silk T-shirts and jeweled sandals, for a slouchy utility chic whose time has come.
Something colourful. You may be clinging to greys and black now, but once it gets warmer, you’ll feel different.
A flamboyant top – ruffled, embroidered or lacy (Isabel Marant). The more decorative the better. Woman cannot live by utilitarianism alone, and a top is more versatile than a dress.
Quirky accessories: the It-anything has the same cachet right now as scrofula. Individuality (or at least something that 7,000 other people on the waiting list aren’t wearing) is where it’s at. Seek out beautiful drop earrings by lesser known designers (www.astleyclarke.com) or on antique stalls; think about wearing a corsage again (VV Rouleaux’s a good start); invest in a really beautiful belt (anything that goes round your waist twice will be useful and fresh looking). Above all, play fast and loose with everything I’ve just recommended. That’s true individuality.
